The Heart Foundation is the proud charity partner for Coastrek

Coastrek is Australia’s most iconic charity hiking challenge for women. The Heart Foundation is proudly partnering with Coastrek, which will see thousands of trekkers (women and men!), in teams of four hiking for healthy hearts along six of Australia’s most spectacular trails, whilst raising life-changing funds for the Heart Foundation.

We’d love to welcome you to our community of amazing Volunteers who make a real difference to improve the heart health and quality of life for all Australians. Volunteers are the heart and soul of Coastrek, and we couldn’t do it without your support!

Volunteer requirements

We’re looking for Event Day Assistants. Whilst no trekking is involved, duties can involve lots of different activities! You might be setting up at a Luv Stop, cheering on trekkers, tidying up the site, replenishing drinks and food or helping pack down at the end of the day. Enthusiasm, smiles and energy are a must!

Volunteers need to be eligible to work in Australia and be over 18 years old or accompanied by an adult.

Volunteering for the Heart Foundation at Coastrek will provide you with hands-on experience at one of Australia's biggest and best fitness challenges. You’ll also meet awesome people, get out into the sunshine and have a really fun day!

Plus, you’ll also receive lunch, a Heart Foundation bum-bag and free entry to participate in Coastrek 2025!
