Are you seeking participants for your research study? The Join Us Research Register connects researchers with thousands of pre-consented Australian adults eager to participate in a wide variety of studies. |
Developed by The George Institute for Global Health and UNSW Sydney, Join Us makes participant recruitment faster and easier. The register is currently available at no cost to researchers and aims to support Australian research by providing a ready-to-engage pool of participants. Fill out a Researcher Access Form today or visit Join Us' Researcher webpage here.
At the Heart Foundation, we are regularly asked by researchers to help recruit participants for their projects via our lived experience networks and channels. We understand the challenges of recruiting participants to research projects and would like to support the valued cardiovascular research community by directing you to Join Us, to connect with participants for your projects.
We are unable to recruit via our own networks and channels as we understand that people with lived experience join our various communities, whether on social media or simply subscribing to a newsletter, for specific reasons including peer support or to obtained trusted information. We feel that if we posted each recruitment request that we receive, our channels would become advertising rather than support and information.
Join Us helps connect participants and researchers with ease. We encourage community members with lived experience who are interested in participating in research projects to sign up to Join Us to be connected to relevant projects. This link is also available on our volunteering portal.
The Heart Foundation is proud to partner with Join Us, a national research register dedicated to connecting more people with health research opportunities
Our passionate volunteers help us save Australian Hearts, giving up their time for our cause. It’s thanks to people like you that we can achieve our ambitious goals.
We spoke with Felicity Tucker, a dedicated volunteer who shares her experience through the Consumer Review Committee and what makes this role so rewarding.
