The Catalyst Partnership Grants Showcase Event will take place on 25-26th March 2025 at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne.
The purpose of this event is to celebrate the top 20 finalists and determine the Catalyst Partnership Grant recipients, showcasing their innovation and excellence to all attendees.

The Catalyst Advisors are individuals with highly regarded expertise and experience, who will play a key role in advising the Heart Foundation on the selection of the 10 Catalyst Partnership Grant awardees. The advisors comprise of a diverse group of local and international subject matter experts with a shared interest in cardiovascular health.
The Catalyst Showcase will allow the Twenty of the Best to pitch their ideas to potential funders, investors, donors, sponsors, and influencers from various sectors, including philanthropy, venture capital, social impact, government, and industry, as well as our global cardiovascular funding partners.
What parking arrangements are available at the venue?
GHG Car Park is a multi-level basement carpark operating 24/7 every day of the year below the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Access is via 128 Flinders Lane or via Russell St at the Grand Hyatt Hotel entry. Are you providing paid parking for guests?
No, we recommend public transport to the venue.
Wheelchair access and booking accessible seating
Please email [email protected] so we can reserve your spot. There are elevators to event spaces on level 8. If you are a speaker, we have an accessibility ramp to the stage.
Arriving late
The registration desk will be open for the duration of the event, please see a Heart Foundation staff member on arrival at the event spaces level to check in and receive your lanyard.
We will have ushers to take you to an available seat during the speaker's changeover to minimise any disruptions.
Re-entry / Can I come and go?
The showcase is set up in session blocks, we encourage people to stay for a complete block and, if required, leave in the designated breaks to avoid disrupting the speakers on stage. Please keep your lanyard for re-entry.
I can't go, can I swap my ticket?
Please email [email protected] to arrange a name change. This option closes at 12pm on Monday 24 March. On arrival to the registration desk, your replacement can then show the confirmation email regarding the swap to receive their lanyard.
I can only go for one day, how can I catch up?
The event will not be live-streamed. We will produce some video content after the event. Please refer to our Showcase event page after the event for relevant updates.
How do audience members book a one-on-one (1:1) session with finalists?  
A scannable QR code will be provided to audience members before and at the Showcase event, via which attendees can book a time for a 15-minute informal chat with the Catalyst Partnership Grant finalist of their choice.

Yes, the dress code for the Showcase event is business formal.

Will the event be recorded?

Will the event be livestreamed?
No, the Showcase event will be an in-person event only and will not be livestreamed. However, the pitch presentations will be recorded.
What happens with my registration data?

What can we expect from the cocktail function?
A stand-up cocktail and canape function in the Residence event space on level 8 of the Grand Hyatt, Featuring: A keynote speaker with lived experience. The finalist booths area will be open (Grosvenor room) for informal chats with Catalyst Partnership Grant finalists.
What if the event is sold out?

Will I be able to meet the Catalyst Partnership Grant finalists personally?
If you would like some individual face-to-face time with any of the Catalyst Partnership Grant finalists, we suggest booking a 15min 1:1 appointment.
A scannable QR code will be provided to audience members before and at the Showcase event, via which attendees can book a time for a 15-minute informal chat with the Catalyst Partnership Grant finalist of their choice.

Will each of the Catalyst Partnership Grant finalists be presenting at the Showcase?

Will the 10 Catalyst Partnership Grant awardees but announced at the showcase?
No, the public announcement of Catalyst Partnership Grant recipients will be made around 4 - 6 weeks after the Showcase, subject to the signing of the Catalyst Partnership Grant Agreements.
Do I need to register for the Showcase? 
Yes, all Catalyst Partnership Grant Showcase attendees must register for the event. If you are interested in attending and have not received a registration link, please contact [email protected].
What will be the format of the Showcase event? – in-person, online, or hybrid?  
The entire Showcase will be an in-person event only. The pitches will be recorded but will not be live-streamed.
Will there be a program given out of the day?  
Yes, the program outline for both days is available at heartfoundation.org.au/catalyst/showcase. Additionally, a prospectus with overviews of the Catalyst Partnership Grant finalists' proposals will be circulated at the Showcase.
