The demand for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement or Implantation (TAVR/TAVI) procedures has rapidly increased in recent years. This project aims to advance and revolutionise the pre- and intra-operative experience of proceduralists by providing previously inaccessible information through a virtual/augmented 4D realistic simulation. Firstly, virtual reality (VR) will assist in the planning of TAVI procedures using advanced, personalised 3D anatomical immersive visualisation. Secondly, intraoperative VR with haptic (touch) feedback will provide a real-time four-dimensional experience to aid critical valve placement.
